Employee Spotlight – Kurt Grafton

Hi! My name is Kurt and I am a Sr. Advisor at LSA Digital!

Hello, I'm Kurt Grafton, and as a kid, I dreamed of soaring among the stars as an astronaut. While I didn't quite reach the cosmos, my journey led me to the US Air Force in 1993, where I eventually became a satellite vehicle operator, commanding and controlling geosynchronous communications satellites in orbit and later becoming a Cyberspace Officer!

Since, retiring from the US Air Force in 2013, I've embarked on diverse ventures, from being an Amazon reseller and co-owning an embroidery business with my wife Janice to navigating the stock market through options trading. In my current role, I relish the opportunity to embrace new technologies, forge connections with clients and partners, and tackle challenges head-on.

The best advice I've ever received is simple yet profound: You never know the answer until you ask.  The worst thing that can happen is the person can say “No.” My inspiration stems from my grandchildren, children, and wife, augmented by insights from self-help books and successful business authors. I aspire to be long into a senior leadership role within the next 10 years, and eventually approaching retirement with the freedom to explore different corners of the world.

Among prized possessions, my most treasured belonging is my family—the ultimate source of love and fulfillment. Breaking the occasional rule, my last misdemeanor was making a significant purchase without consulting my wife—a valuable lesson in alignment and avoiding conflicts!

Hidden talents? I'm a wizard with reclaimed pallets, crafting unique items, and I find solace in restoring classic cars with friends. Lastly, if given a week off, you'd find me soaking in the beauty of the Caribbean, or exploring the wonders of Fiji, Europe, Asia, and beyond—savoring the richness life has to offer! Cheers to the adventure that lies ahead!
